INTRODUCTION TO STAR GROUP

Established in 2000 as a local and long-distance transportation company called Star Group operating within the borders of South Africa and a need to expand and enforce BEE requirements the company underwent a re-imaging strategy and is committed to positive transformation within South Africa and has thus evolved into a complete Black Economically Empowered enterprise. The company has since evolved into a dynamic Freight movement and Warehousing specializing in the following services:

National Transport, Warehousing, and Distributions, Material handling, Overnight Express services (in the city and inter-regional), Special deliveries, Sensitive goods, Storage. The company’s purpose is to manage and facilitate stock on behalf of its customers be it retailers and suppliers, conference, roadshows, relocation, and road freight requirements.

Our responsibilities are to be custodians of our customers stock until dispatch.

Star Group specializes in the road transportation of a large variety of goods on South Africans major routes. The company is a forerunner within the transportation industry, with its core business comprising of short and long distance haulage and distribution throughout the Republic of South Africa. This includes the carry of break-bulk loads, fragile goods, hazardous cargo and containerized cargo.
